[ All things considered, at least in appearance, Nenonen is fairly normal. The only thing that might immediately stick out to him are their eyes, where their pupils are slits rather than round circles. Other than that though? It's normal eye colour, normal hair colour, and while they don't look outright masculine or feminine, there's nothing outlandishly different from a normal person.

When Nen opens the door they greet him with a not-quite smile (their best effort!). ]

Hello. Are you Armin, or a visitor for a husband in the house?

[More talk of husbands. Armin laughs (somewhat nervous).]

You were right the first time. I'm Armin.

[He holds out his hand for a shake.]

It's nice to meet you properly, Nenonen.

[ Nenonen's hand comes up to take his without hesitation. It's almost automatic. The look on their face is keen though, and they nod. ]

It is nice to meet you, Armin. Thank you for coming to help! I appreciate it very much. I am not very good at taking photos yet.

[ Be not afraid of husbandspeak, young man ]

[A good-natured laugh.]

Well, I can't confidently say that I am either, but that's why I'd like to practice.

Yes please! Everything is on a table in the dining room, but we can move it wherever you think is best suited for calendar photos.

[ They'll lead the way to where several different peanut butter-themed treats and foods have been plated (as nicely as Shigeru could manage. There's only so much presentation you can give to a PB&J sandwich). Behind that are several vases and glass jars of flowers in differing arrangements. ]

I would like to take photos of the food first so that we can eat it after.

[Well, that sounds pleasant enough. He can smell the peanut butter the second he passes through the door. Sometimes he thinks he'll never get used to how much food there is available in this place.]

Would you like any photos of the food and the flowers taken together?

[An afterthought:] I'm curious. What made you want to combine the two? Or take photos of them at all?

[He can understand the flowers, maybe - they always make for a pretty picture - but the peanut butter theme is still something he's having a hard time wrapping his mind around.]

They are two things I like very much that are not flushed men who might cry.

Peanut butter was the first food I ate in Ellipsa. And my world did not have flowers at all. I think they are very beautiful... So I wanted to combine them! They are my favourites.

[Again with the flushed and crying husbands! Moving right along!]

Oh, that's...that's actually quite nice. [He smiles.] I can see why you'd want to commemorate those things, then.
